Due to the rapid and unprecedented world wide spread of the COVID-19,

(Coronavirus) On Friday March 13th, our Bishop, Rev. Karen Oliveto recommended that all churches throughout our conference suspend all worship services. In a conference call on Saturday March 14th, the church leaders and I decided we would follow the Bishops recommendation. Beginning with the March 15th Worship Celebration we will suspend all worship services and meetings through the end of March. We will plan to hold our Palm Sunday Celebration with Communion on Sunday April 5, 2020.

We do not take this drastic step of closing the church lightly. I have never envisioned having to take such measures. However, we have an at risk population of seniors and we want all our members to be healthy and safe.

Please remember that Scott church needs your contributions during the closure to remain financially healthy. Our employees must continue to provide for their families during the closure. So please go to our website and give on line or send your tithes and gifts to the church office.
