The Aid to Needy Ministry embodies Scott UMC’s mission of compassion and service. This team provides assistance to individuals and families in crisis through food, clothing, and other essential resources. Rooted in Christ’s call to serve “the least of these,” this ministry ensures that no one in our community is forgotten. 

The Christian Education Ministry nurtures spiritual growth for all ages through Bible study, Sunday school, and faith-based learning opportunities. From children’s lessons to adult discipleship classes, this ministry helps each believer strengthen their relationship with God and live out their faith in daily life.

The Church Anniversary Committee celebrates the rich history and enduring faith of Scott UMC. Each year, the team plans events that honor our church’s legacy, uplift our community, and inspire continued commitment to God’s work for generations to come. 

The Communion Stewards prepare and serve the elements for Holy Communion, ensuring that every detail of this sacred meal is handled with care and reverence. Their service helps the congregation experience the grace and unity found at the Lord’s Table. 

The Laity and Lay Leaders Ministry empowers church members to take active roles in worship, outreach, and leadership. These devoted individuals work alongside the pastor to guide the spiritual direction of the church and embody servant leadership throughout the community. 

The Mission Team leads the church’s efforts to share God’s love beyond our walls—locally, nationally, and globally. Through outreach projects, volunteer service, and partnerships with community organizations, they put faith into action by helping those in need.

The Music Ministry fills Scott UMC with songs of praise and worship. Through choir performances, musicianship, and special events, this ministry glorifies God and uplifts the congregation, inspiring all who hear to rejoice in the Lord’s presence.

The Senior Adult Ministry provides fellowship, support, and spiritual enrichment for our seasoned members. Through gatherings, devotional sessions, and community engagement, this ministry honors the wisdom and faith of those who have paved the way for future generations.

The Scholarship Committee supports the educational dreams of Scott UMC’s youth and young adults. By awarding scholarships and providing mentorship, the committee invests in the future leaders of our church and community.

The Methodist Women of Faith is a fellowship of women committed to growing spiritually, serving the community, and supporting one another through prayer and outreach. Together, they strengthen their faith while uplifting families and neighbors in need.

The Men’s Bible Study brings together men of faith to study God’s Word, share life experiences, and encourage one another in Christian living. This group provides a space for brotherhood, spiritual growth, and leadership development within the church.
